Yes, artificial turf is generally considered safe for children and pets. In fact, many schools, daycare centers, and playgrounds use artificial turf as a safe and durable surface for children to play on. Artificial turf is made with materials that are non-toxic and safe for human and animal contact. Additionally, many artificial turf products are designed with features that enhance safety, such as a softer surface layer and shock-absorbing padding. However, it is important to note that, like any other outdoor surface, artificial turf can become hot in direct sunlight, so purchasing and installing the proper turf and infill for your application is recommended. Also, proper maintenance and regular cleaning are necessary to prevent bacteria and other potentially harmful substance accumulation.

We start by excavating and disposing of your existing lawn and other debris. We then put down a two-three inch layer of granite fine paver base. That base is then smoothed, graded and compacted creating a layer in which we can lay the turf. We then seam the pieces of turf together, cut to fit to your yard, and secure the perimeter. Lastly, we infill the turf using a mixture of both our heat reduction and pet deodorizing sands at a density of 1-2 pounds per square foot. This helps to ensure that your yard is both cool and odor free and also protects it against wear and tear.
